One of the attractions of having a civil ceremony is that you are free
to the choices of how you would like your ceremony and also where you would
like to hold it without restrictions.
This gives you the opportunity of some wonderful places that will be
available to you. I can suggest some
beautiful gardens around Melbourne or Victoria. If you are seeking and
looking for a garden or park setting or perhaps you would like to hold your
wedding in a non denominational chapel attached to a reception venue or the
beauty of a gorgeous beach setting or mountain vista or even the historical and
eerie Old Melbourne Gaol with its hauntingly billowing ‘fog’ and
candelabras. Have I whetted your
appetite yet??
As I said you have the
opportunity to choose.
Whether you choose a traditional or a contemporary style of service or a
simply beautiful service that is so intimate that there is only just the both of you
and your witnesses…… through to a large elaborate ceremony that is so personal and
meaningful to you, my challenge is to craft a personalised ceremony that is
everything you want within the legal framework for marriage in Australia.
Pause for a few moments, visualise what it will be like, imagine it, hear
the music and believe in it. And then I
will help you create it.
No need to concern yourselves with learning words off by heart, and
becoming nervous with the memorising of vows… I will guide you every step and
every word.
I am also able to offer you suggestions of some beautiful rituals that
you might like to add into your ceremony to enhance it even more.
Let me take away all of the legal worries for you so that you do not
have to worry or stress in the preparation of your ceremony.
We start with the NOIM notice of intended
marriage that must be presented to me a minimum
one month and one day before your wedding date or up to a maximum of 18 months beforehand.
Once you have chosen your date, it is time to start putting all your
dreams in place.
I want to make your wedding day so special and relaxed and put you at
ease.
‘So as you meet and join your
lives together in marriage.…
I now pronounce you husband
and wife’
